How can I get listed on ExpertLawyer.org?
This is not a wide open community, we only accept experienced and professional lawyers. You can get listed by one of the following methods: Direct application: To apply, you should send us an email to webmaster@expertlawyers.org telling us your name, some important aspects of your professional experience and why you or your law firm should be listed. We will check your application and you will be notified if you are accepted or not.
Invitation: Every new member is granted with a number of invitations, if you know someone who is already a member ask him/her for an invitation. If you have an invitation you will be accepted for sure. You will receive an email when someone invites you and you will have to go to the URL in the invitation email. In both cases you will be required to place a link on your website or blogs pointing to ExpertLawyers.org.
How long do I have to keep the links on my site or blogs pointing to this site?
As long as you are a member, if you take out the link, you will be taken out of the site.

Because links will increase the traffic in several different ways, if the site gets more traffic you will have more potential clients and we will have more people clicking on the ads, so we all benefit from the links.

We used to search the web to find expert lawyers to add them to our data base, we do not do that anymore, so if you are already listed without being a member, send us an email and we will tell you how you can update your profile since the information in your profile might be outdated. On the other hand, if you are already listed and you don’t want to be a member, send us an email, and we will delete your data from our data base.
I’m now a member, how can I update my profile?
You can update your profile by logging in and going to your profile, once there, you’ll see the edit option for each section of your profile, this option is only available for the profile owner when logged in.
I’m already listed, but I appear in a very low position on the results page, how can I improve that position?
Search results are ordered according to the search string, but if more than one professional is retrieved for a given search string, those results are ordered by points, so as an example, if a visitor is searching for a personal injury lawyer in Los Angeles and 10 different lawyer are found on our data base, all of them will be retrieved, but the one with more points will appear in the first position, if two or more lawyers have the same quantity of points, they will be ordered randomly. To get featured you have to have certain number of points. The featured lawyers or law firms are those who contribute to the site, you don’t have to be the top contributor to get featured, but the more points you have, the better the chances to get featured. Member with more points will be featured more frequently.
I see some ads on my profile, how can I get rid of those ads?
As you already know, every member get certain number of invitations, to get rid of the ads on your profile, you have to send at least 6 invitation and at least 3 of the professionals you invite have to accept your invitation. You will see the status of your invitation on your profile.
